In order to facilitate the technological convergence and individuals to comply with the provisions pursuant to the applicable legal standards, NYCE gets the accreditation to operate as a Certification Body of Telecommunications Product granted by the Mexican Accreditation Entity (Entidad Mexicana de Acreditación [EMA]), and with the approval of the Federal Telecommunications Commission (Comisión Federal de Telecomunicaciones [COFETEL]).

Telecommunication Standards certified by NYCE were developed by COFETEL, a Decentralized Management Body of the Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT). Therefore, they are subject to the Conformity Assessment Procedures of the telecommunications product (PEC) issued by COFETEL.

If you are a manufacturer, importer, marketer or a lessor of telecommunications products, you can get a Conformity Certificate (for homologation purposes) from the following Mexican Official Standards (NOM):

• NOM-084-SCT1-2002, Technical Specifications for Transmitters intended for specialized radio mobile service of fleets ("Especificaciones técnicas de los equipos transmisores destinados al servicio móvil de radiocomunicación especializada de flotillas")
• NOM-088/1-SCT1-2002, Microwave equipment for systems of multi-channel, point to point and point to multipoint fixed service - Part I: Multiple Radio Access ("Equipos de microondas para sistemas del servicio fijo multicanal punto a punto y punto a multipunto - Parte I: Radio Acceso Múltiple")
• NOM-088/2-SCT1-2002, Microwave equipment for systems of multi-channel, point to point and point to multipoint fixed service - Part II: Transportation ("Equipos de microondas para sistemas del servicio fijo multicanal punto a punto y punto a multipunto - Parte II: Transporte").
• NOM-151-SCT1-1999 Interface to public networks for terminal equipment ("Interfaz a redes públicas para equipos terminales").
• NOM-152-SCT1-1999, Digital public network interface (Digital interface 2048 kbit/s) ("Interfaz digital a redes públicas (Interfaz digital a 2048 kbits/s)")
